Vibrato Applied

How to Apply

All effects and filters are applied in the same way in AVS Audio Editor. For detailed step-by-step instructions on how to apply effects to your audio files, click here.

Vibrato Settings

The Vibrato effect is achieved by a periodical variation in the sound amplitude. To apply the effect, use on the available presets or configure the effect parameters manually.

Vibrato effect settings

The following Vibrato settings are available for editing:

  • Depth - determines the amplitude variation limits. The bigger the value, the wider the amplitude variation range will be. Thus, setting depth to 100% will make the sound amplitude oscillate between silence and the maximum amplitude of the sound in your audio track. Setting it to 0% will result in no vibration at all.
  • Rate - sets the number of amplitude oscillations per second. This parameter controls how often the sound amplitude oscillates. For example, if you set the parameter to 3 Hz, the amplitude will oscillate (make the full sycle from the minimum to the maximum amplitude and back to the minimum) 3 times per second.
