File Area

The File Area is located in the lower part of the AVS Audio Recorder main window.

In the upper part of this area the list of the recorded files is offered. The file name, duration and the number of channels are specified in this list. Using the buttons below you can set the location for the resulting files and perform certain file operations.

The table below describes the functions of the items that form this part of the AVS Audio Recorder main window:

Item	Description
Play	Use this button to start the playback of the resulting audio files.
Pause	Use this button to pause the playback of the resulting audio files.
Stop	Use this button to stop the playback of the resulting audio files.
Slider	Use it to navigate through the selected audio file. The time of the current cursor position is displayed next to the slider.
Edit	Use this button to launch the AVS Audio Editor application if it is already installed on your computer or to go to our website and download the program.
Convert	Use this button to launch the AVS Audio Converter application if it is already installed on your computer or to go to our website and download the program.
Output Folder	Displays the path to the folder where the resulting audio files are stored.
Browse	Use this button to change the path to the folder where the resulting audio files are stored and select your own location for the recordings.

Express Menu

To perform certain file operations you can use the Express Menu options. To activate it right-click a recorded file within the File Area. In the table below you can find the description of each option in the Express Menu.
