Overview

The Appendix section contains the information that is actual for several or even all AVS4YOU programs at once and consists of the following chapters:

• Utilities Embedded into AVS Programs
  Here you can find instructions on how to use AVS Mobile Uploader, AVS Video Burner, AVS Video Uploader and AVS Screen Capture embedded into various AVS4YOU programs installation files.

• File Format Settings
  This chapter deals with settings of some audio formats supported by AVS4YOU audio programs and comprises definitions for bitrate, frequency, details on advanced settings for MP3 and OGG Vorbis audio formats as well as available MP3, MP2 and OGG Vorbis parameters combinations.

• AVS Programs Codec Settings
  Read this chapter to learn more about codecs included into AVS4YOU video programs and their settings. These codecs are: MPEG-4, H.264, WMV and VPX.

• Mobile Devices and Supported Formats
  Here you will find common information on most portable devices and formats supported by them: Apple iPod, Sony PSP, Archos DVR, and various portable players.

• Troubleshooting
  This chapter might be useful in case you faced some problems while using AVS4YOU programs. It is periodically updated and contains solutions to most common problems with AVS4YOU software activation and use.

• Enabling the DMA Mode
  The given chapter describes steps you should proceed in order to enable the DMA (Direct Memory Access) mode. It needs to be enabled for hardware systems (i.e. disc drives, graphics and sound cards, etc) to communicate with your PC directly without using the CPU.
