Mosaic

Mosaic effectThe Mosaic effect defines a selection by clumping pixels of similar color values in cells. The pixels in a given block are the same color, and the colors of the blocks represent the colors in the selection. It produces irregularly-contoured squares at regularly-spaced intervals. There are two types of mosaic effect. Simple mosaic is produced based on the color of the top left pixel; otherwise it is based on the average color of all pixels in the given tile.

In the Properties Area of the Video Effect window you can change the effect propertieschange the effect properties. The properties of the Mosaic effect available for setting are size of the block (in pixels) and the smooth option. By checking/unchecking the Smooth checkbox you can select the type of the Mosaic effect.
