Invert

InvertThe Invert effect inverts the sound around the horizontal axis. Usually this effect is used to change the polarity of one of the stereo channels in order to put them in phase. For more information, please refer to the Phase Analysis page.


How to Apply

  1. Add the audio file to the Waveform Editing Space.

  2. Select the channel you would like to apply the effect to by using the Control key of the keyboard together with the mouse pointer (the cursor will acquire L or R letter) and left-clicking.

  3. Click the Invert button on the Effects Tab or double-click the Invert effect on the Files and Effects Panel.

  4. Wait while the progam applies the effect. Click Cancel at any time to abort the process.

  5. Invert


Settings

This effect does not have any settings and will be simply applied so that either the selected channel will be inverted or the whole audio if nothing has been selected.
