Mix Tab

AVS Audio Editor - Mix Tab

The Mix tab includes the Mix Project, Lines/Objects, Mix Undo/Redo, Mix Volume and Mix Effects button groups. For information on the Mix Tab command button functions please refer to the table below.

Group Command Description
Mix Project New Project button
New Project
Use it to create a new audio project.
Open Project... button
Open Project...
Use it to open an existing mix project. Clicking the arrow below this button will additionally display the Recent Projects option.
Recent Projects Use it to view a list of the projects that have been recently loaded into AVS Audio Editor..
Save Project button
Save Project
Use it to save the currently edited mix project with its current file name and location.
Save Project button
Save Project as...
Use it to save the currently edited mix project with a different name and/or location. The project will be saved as a project file with the .mix extension.
Export Audio button
Export Audio
Use it to export audio from the mix project and save it to one of the available audio formats.
Lines/Objects Open Audio File button
Open Audio File
Use it to load n audio track into the mix working space. The selected file will be placed to the empty line at current curor position.
New Line button
New Line
Use it to add a new line to the mix working space.
Duplicate Line button
Duplicate Line
Use it to duplicate the selected line in the mix working space.
Clear Line button
Clear Line
Use it to clear the selected line in the mix working space.
Duplicate Object button
Duplicate Object
Use it to duplicate the currently selected object in the mix working space. The object wil be duplicated in the same line.
Delete Object button
Delete Object
Use it to delete the currently selected object in the mix working space.
Edit Object button
Edit Object
Use it to edit the currently selected object in the mix working space.
Split Object button
Split Object
Use it to split the currently selected object in the mix working space at current cursor position.
Object Properties button
Object Properties
Use it to view the currently selected object properties.
Mix Undo/Redo Undo button
Undo
Use it to cancel the last acion performed in the mix working space.
Redo button
Redo
Use it to repeat the last undone action performed in the mix working space.
Mix Volume Balance Use it to set the stereo balance of your audio mix.
Gain Use it to set the volume of your audio mix.
Mix Effects Amplify button
Amplify
Left-click it to apply the Amplify effect to your audio.
Fade In/Out button
Fade In/Out
Left-click it to apply Fade in or Fade out effect to audio.
Envelope button
Envelope
Left-click it to apply the Envelope effect to your audio.
Compressor button
Compressor
Left-click it to apply the Compressor effect to your audio.
Multiband Compressor button
Multiband Compressor
Left-click it to apply the Multiband Compressor effect to your audio.
FFT Filter button
FFT Filter
Left-click it to apply the FFT Filter to your audio.
Chorus button

Left-click it to apply the Chorus effect to your audio.
Echo button
Echo
Left-click it to apply Echo effect to audio.
Flanger button

Left-click it to apply the Flanger effect to your audio.
Phaser button

Left-click it to apply the Phaser effect to your audio.
Reverb button

Left-click it to apply the Reverb effect to your audio.

Pitch Shift button

Left-click it to apply Pitch Shift effect to audio.
Equalizer button

Left-click it to apply the Equalizer filter to your audio.
Noise Gate button

Left-click it to apply the Noise Gate filter to your audio.
Parametric Filters button

Left-click it to apply Parametric Filters to your audio.
Limiter button

Left-click it to apply Limiter filter to your audio.
